I have played Ragnarok Online since its first official release. To date, I have lost count of how many private servers I played. Flex RO is an undiscovered gem. It uniquely features a flexible rate setting which is tied to each character. This gives players the freedom to get stronger faster and jump right into farming for the endgame, or to go for the classic adventure and challenge. The community is still growing, but I can already feel a sense of belonging. I think I have found home.

The server's Halloween Event begun last week and seeing a lot of new and returning faces participating in the event. You can level up, get cards & gears and quest for limited edition headgears all on the Hallowen event map. It's fun to see dozens of players farming and competing to kill the teleporting mini-boss. It's a great time to join and get established during the Halloween Event. Highly recommend if looking for a casual pre-renewal server with capable GM team.

Great new low rate with a growing tight knit community. Different settings allow newbies to catch up quick, then optional lower rates and game modes offer new experiences for when you need a break. WoE is getting good, as the previously dominating guild just got dethroned by another guild.. looking forward to the next woe to fight again. The economy is good, prices are lower than normal thanks to the many zeny sinks and features. The daily themes make every day exciting and unite the server. +++

I've been a part of the Ragnarok Online community for years, and I recently stumbled upon an absolute gem in the world of private servers:FlexRo. If you're a fan of the classic Ragnarok experience and are searching for a server that stays true to its roots while keeping things fresh, look no further!

The server is still growing, this is why my only bad rating is for "Guild Competition", other than that the server could be an easy 10. Balance is nearly perfect, programmed events are cool enough, community is chill and active, and being able to choose your rates and mode is amazing! I started playing with a character in hardcore mode x1 rates and it's an experience i didn't have in RO for the past 20 years! GMs are available and feel like a part of the community, always listening to feedback!

I have been on Flex for almost 3 weeks and I can confirm it's definitely one of the better pservers I've been on. Server stability is pretty solid with proxies to help for different areas, I only have input lag for a few minutes at a time, maybe once a week. The GM is available for questions on Discord and can make quick fixes as they come up, resulting in a server restart rather than a lengthy maintenance. Minor but meaningful balance adjustments have been made as well. Definite recommend.

A refreshing take on low rate pre renewal that allows you to choose how fast or how slow you want to take your journey. Automated events happen during the day at regular intervals and the flex coin system, that can be gained simply from playing, keeps the market fair. The only negative that I can think of is the forced PK mode at level 99. As someone with little interest in forced PVP, this feels like a punishment. That said, don't let that stop you or your friends for trying a great server.
